Full Moon Chasing in Canberra

A full moon seems to haunt astro photographers, but when I try to get an image of the full moon, I seem to be haunted by clouds. Several times in 2024 I tried to capture the full moon and was clouded out each time except this one—and even here the clouds kept chasing the moon, as the timelapse below shows.

Not to be beaten, I got up early the next morning to try to get the moonset, and used some of the timelapse images to create this time slice.
